The unique element of an artist's print, as made by an artist in collaboration with Artizan Editions, is that there is no
'original' painting or image from which the copies are taken, the prints themselves are the originals.
The process begins with the artist discussing some ideas with Sally Gimson, the senior print-maker (and proprietor) at
Artizan. They may bring a few sketches, photographs, any visual material that is relevant to the image they are thinking
about.
